AI-powered development

Rapid development with Claude, without cutting corners

We use Claude, Anthropic's AI, at every stage of a project: requirements, design, code, testing and deployment. It does the heavy drafting; our developers plan, review and own every change. You get more functionality for the same budget.

  1. Requirement planning
  2. Design & wireframes
  3. Development
  4. QA & testing
  5. Deployment

The workflow

Five stages, AI in each one

The same five stages as any good project. What changes is how much of the drafting Claude does, and how quickly we can show you something real.

01

Requirement planning

From a conversation to a written spec in days, not weeks.

What Claude does

  • Claude turns meeting notes and your existing material into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Gaps and open questions are listed before any design starts
  • The spec becomes the single source every later step works from

What our team does

You and our lead review and sign off the spec.

What it saves you

Fewer rounds of back-and-forth and fewer surprises later.

02

Design & wireframes

See every page before a line of production code.

What Claude does

  • Wireframes for every page drafted directly from the spec
  • Copy drafted alongside the layout, based on the facts you give us
  • Changes made in minutes while we're still on a call

What our team does

Our designer refines the layout and you approve it.

What it saves you

Design changes cost almost nothing at this stage.

03

Development

Claude Code works inside the project with full context.

What Claude does

  • Claude Code reads the codebase and its conventions before writing
  • Repetitive work (forms, CRUD screens, data models) is generated, not hand-typed
  • Every change arrives as a small, reviewable diff in Git

What our team does

A Mothersoft developer reviews and owns every line that ships.

What it saves you

Developer hours go to the hard problems, not the boilerplate.

04

QA & testing

Tests and reviews written as the feature is built.

What Claude does

  • Unit and end-to-end tests written alongside each feature
  • Automated code review of every change for bugs and security issues
  • Accessibility and performance checks on each page

What our team does

We test on real phones and browsers before you see it.

What it saves you

Bugs are caught before release, when they're cheapest to fix.

05

Deployment

Scripted releases you can repeat any time.

What Claude does

  • CI/CD pipelines and server configuration written as code
  • Release notes and documentation generated from the changes
  • Deploys to Cloudflare, Motherhost servers or your own cloud

What our team does

We watch every launch and stay on hand afterwards.

What it saves you

Repeatable deploys mean releases stop being events.

Efficient AI

Less tokens, fewer prompts, more functionality

Using AI well is a skill. These habits keep each session short and accurate, which keeps the cost down for you and the quality up.

Project memory, written once

Each project keeps a short guide to its stack, conventions and decisions that Claude reads at the start of every session. No one re-explains the project, so fewer tokens go on context.

Plan first, then build

Claude proposes a plan and we approve it before any code is written. One clear plan replaces many corrective prompts.

One task, one precise prompt

Each prompt names the files, the expected result and how to check it. Precise prompts get it right the first time.

Reuse over regenerate

Shared components and data files mean new pages are assembled, not written from scratch: less output, fewer tokens, consistent results.

The right model for the job

Larger Claude models for planning and tricky code, faster ones for routine edits, with prompt caching for long-running work.

Review the diff, don't start over

We correct small diffs instead of regenerating whole files, which keeps changes small and cheap to review.

Lower development cost

Where the savings come from

Fewer hours on drafting and repetitive work means more of your budget goes into features.

Guardrails

AI drafts. People decide.

Speed is only useful if the result is right. These rules apply to every project.

  • A Mothersoft developer reviews every change before it ships
  • Once paid for, the code, designs and documents for your project are yours
  • Passwords, keys and your customers' personal data are never pasted into prompts
  • Everything lives in your Git repository, with history you can audit

We use it ourselves

This website was built this way

The plan, wireframes, copy and code for this site were drafted with Claude and reviewed by our team, the same way we redesigned the Motherhost store. The workflow on this page is the one we use every day.

FAQ

AI development questions

Does AI-assisted development cost less?

For the same scope it usually takes fewer billable hours, because Claude handles much of the drafting, boilerplate and test writing. We quote every project after understanding it, and the quote reflects how we work.

Is AI-written code safe to ship?

Nothing ships without a Mothersoft developer reading and approving it. Every change also goes through automated tests and code review.

Which AI do you use?

Claude by Anthropic, mainly through Claude Code, which works directly inside the project's codebase.

What happens to our data and code?

Your code lives in your Git repository, and once the project is paid for, the code written for it is yours. We never paste passwords, keys or your customers' personal data into prompts.

Can you use this approach on our existing project?

Yes. We start by writing a short project guide for Claude about your stack and conventions, then work in small, reviewed changes.
